PUBLIC NOTICE is given that the regular municipal election for the Town of Pierce, Colorado will be held as part of the coordinated election on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

Nomination petitions for candidates may be obtained from the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 144 Main Ave, Pierce, Colorado. Petitions may be circulated beginning August 4, 2026. The last day to file the nominating petition with the Town Clerk is 4:30 PM MT on August 24, 2026.

Candidate Requirements

A candidate must be:

  • 18 years of age;
  • United States citizen;
  • Registered elector in the Town of Pierce;
  • Have lived in the Town of Pierce for 12 consecutive months prior to the election.

Positions for November 3, 2026

  • One (1) Mayor seat — 4 year term, will end November 2030
  • Three (3) Trustee seats — 4 year term, will end November 2030
  • Two (2) Trustee seats — 2 year term, will end November 2028

Please note that the length of terms will be determined by the votes received by each candidate in the election.
