Where: East side of town, off Main Street by the water tower

Who: In-town limit residents only

Spring cleaning season is here. The Town of Pierce will be providing dumpsters for residents to dispose of unwanted household items. Please review the details below before heading over.

What You Need to Know

  • One load per household. Please plan accordingly.
  • Proof of residency is required. Bring your current month's water bill or a photo ID showing a current in-town limit Pierce address.
  • This is not a curbside pickup. You'll need to haul your items to the dumpster site yourself.

Drop-Off Location

Dumpsters will be staged on the east side of town, off Main Street by the water tower.

Items NOT Allowed in the Dumpster

To keep everyone safe and stay compliant with disposal regulations, the following items cannot be accepted:

  • Anything containing coolant or Freon — refrigerators, AC units, freezers
  • Anything containing oil or gas — small motors, etc.
  • Car batteries
  • Computers
  • CRTs and other electronics
  • Tires
  • Paint
  • Solvents
  • Medical sharps

If you have items on this list, please contact your local waste disposal or hazardous materials facility for proper disposal options.

Questions?

Reach out to Town Hall ahead of the event if you're unsure whether an item qualifies. We'll see you on June 13th!
